Our sandy loam soil is another advantage near Dallas, where heavy black gumbo is common. It drains well and helps keep turnout from being routinely sidelined by North Texas weather. A prominent, well-known equine veterinarian is right next door.

Southern Cross has been our home for 15 years. We closed our boarding program, but we still believe in what this farm can offer. We want to lease it to a trainer who will love it, care for it and use it fully.
The facility is especially well suited to eventing or hunter/jumper programs, but we are open to trainers in other English disciplines. The ideal fit has experience, a competitive mindset and show record, along with the drive to build a program centered on horse and rider performance.
We’ll work with qualified candidates to determine a lease arrangement that fits the program and the farm. For the right trainer, we’re open to helping find a barn manager who can support the day-to-day work as your program grows.
